Penobscot River Canoeing Adventure

2-7 days! This is our most popular overnight canoe trip! This trip offers something for the entire family including; canoeing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, camping, exploring, photography, and sightseeing. Starting at Roll Dam on the Penobscot River, you'll paddle downstream to remote wilderness campsites on the river and Lobster and Chesuncook lakes. Each site has picnic tables, a fire rings and are positioned in beautiful wilderness settings. You'll find many of the best wildlife viewing opportunities for moose, loons, deer, many species of ducks, eagles, on this canoe trip graced with beautiful views of Mt. Katahdin. The Maine moose frequents this watershed in search of the abundant aquatic plant growth so sightings on the river trip are common.

Allagash River Canoe Trip

Paddle Maine's most famous wilderness river; the historic Allagash River Waterway! For over 100 years the sportsman and recreationists have gathered their supplies and guides from our location in Downtown Greenville.In 1970 The Allagash River was designated as a National Wild and Scenic River to protect and preserve this beautiful watershed for all who appreciate the wilderness.

There is a great canoe trip for fishing, flat water, quick water and class II white water paddling, wildlife viewing and photography. There are 80 designated campsites that are well maintained and designed. Each site has a campfire ring, picnic table, and outhouse. No fire permits are needed however fires are only permitted in the fire ring at the site.

Camping and canoeing experience required for a self-guided trip; you can hire one of our excellent Maine guides to lead you down the river. The Allagash river canoe trip can be done as a complete guided all-inclusive trip, or, for the more experienced paddlers we offer rental canoes, camping equipment and a Shuttle service.

Overnight Camping on Moosehead Lake

Moosehead Lake offers a wide variety of canoe trip options for wilderness camping. Moosehead lake is almost 40 miles long and has hundreds of miles of shoreline to explore with the majority of that natural and undeveloped. You will find numerous inlets ,islands and remote coves, to visit and explore. There are dozens of public campsites available to pitch your tent. There are many wildlife viewing opportunities and it is very common to spot Loons, Osprey, Deer, Bald eagle, and of course the Maine Moose. There are several ways to do this canoe trip, you could just go to Sugar Island for a night or spend a week camping paddling and exploring.

2-4 days! This is a great convenient trip for those of you that are looking for a overnight canoe or kayak short wilderness experience. We can offer this from 2 day 1 night trip to a 3 night 4 day trip for those short on time the overnight version of our popular West Outlet day trip. It adds camping to a great family outdoors adventure. We provide your gear and transportation. The remote wilderness campsites offer on-the-water camping. You provide the camp fire stories.
