Hike maine's Tallest mountain Mt. Katahdin
Mt. Katahdin is our most challenging hike. She is our tallest mountain at 5270 ft. and is housed by 200,000 acres of Baxter State Park, Maine’s largest, most beautiful, and wildest. Baxter State Park has more than 50 lakes and ponds, and abundant wildlife, with Moose sightings common. Your guide will meet you early in the morning for a scenic drive to the mountain. Several hikes are available in the park. However, the hike to the peak is strenuous and requires a long, full day and good fitness, so please plan appropriately.

B52 Crash Site
A fascinating piece of local history, the B-52 crash site is a federally protected debris field that tells the story of a tragic yet remarkable event. In 1963, a mechanical failure caused a B-52 bomber to strike the top of a local mountain, crashing into the snowy woods. While most of the crew perished, two survived and lived to share a harrowing tale of survival. Join a guided tour with a Maine Guide to hear the whole story. This leisurely tour includes scenic backcountry drives and a gentle, short hike to the site, making it accessible for all ages.

Guided Waterfall Hikes

Your guide will take you to a riverside hiking trail meandering next to cascading falls while surrounded by trees and nature. These hikes could be an easy 2-3 hike or, for the more adventurous, a full-day hike on more challenging trails. Give us a call; we will be happy to help you choose the trip that’s best for you.

Mount Kineo Hike Moosehead Lake
Mount Kineo is the crown jewel of Moosehead Lake. Take one of our daily cruises to this stunning, jagged rock face, a striking precipice rising more than 800 feet from the water. Explore with a guided hiking tour up the backside for a moderate hike to the mountaintop fire tower. Stunning views can be found along the trail, and ascending the restored fire tower offers panoramic vistas of the entire Moosehead Lake region – indeed, some of the best hiking in Maine – leading to this climax. This six-hour trip includes snacks and beverages.
