Try the new skills course track in Grenville or Gravel bike the endless roads in the region. Our bicycle rentals have something for everyone—whether you’re exploring Moosehead Lake or tackling rugged trails.
Key Information
- Rental start time: 8:00 AM or 12:00 PM, 1/2 day, or 8:00-4:30 full day.
- Helmet: Helmet is provided and required, as well as instructions, maps, and trail advice upon arrival.
- Meeting point: Departing from Northwoods Outfitters.
- Duration: Rentals are rain or shine. No refunds for early returns.
- Transportation: Electric bikes are not allowed on standard bike racks
- Damage: Damage and repairs are the renter’s responsibility, including labor, parts, and recovery fees.

- Clothing: Dress for changing weather. Clothing is also available for rent or purchase in our Store.
- Footwear: Closed-toe shoes, no flip-flops
- Water: Water/food, and a small backpack
- Miscellaneous Gear: cell phone, camera, Map

It’s an excellent ride for all ages and is so close to town. There are miles of trails leaving Greenville. The terrain is easy to moderate, and there is something for everyone. Leave from Northwoods Outfitters in Greenville.
Moose Mountain offers moderate to expert single track that can challenge even the most advanced riders. It is professionally designed and built by the guys who build trails for a living.
Check out our new skills track, right in the middle of Greenville. It’s Perfect for Kids or the Kid in you. The skill track is an oval with many fun Bike features to test your inner child.
The Moosehead Region has hundreds of miles of gravel roads for manageable mountain and gravel biking. Additionally, the AMC has mapped out an incredible and extensive remote riding adventure. Check out the map for more information.
Sponsored by our local hospital, the Bike and Boat is a fun road ride from Greenville to Rockwood. Although the ride is 22 miles, there are many services along the way, and a ride is available if you need one.
